Monique Lhuillier a designer from the Philippines that had probably one of the most memorable collection this Fashion Week so far. Inspiration of behind this Fall collection was lava and volcanic stones. The color scheme consisted of this collection was red and black. Monique did a great job incorporating sequins, beads, lace, gold, leather, and shimmer into her gowns. Even though this is collection was inspired by lava and volcanic stones the gowns reminded me of Old Hollywood glamour. This collection embodied glamour and sophistication.
